You’ve updated your wardrobe, customized your resume and submitted hundreds of cover letters. You’ve networked, cajoled, sidled and begged your way into interviews. But despite all these efforts, you still find yourself jobless, frustrated and at a complete loss as to why it’s not working.

The answer?

Do the opposite.  

My good friend and colleague Kevin Dobbs of Montclair Advisors reminded me of this classically sage advice from George Costanza.  It may not land you a job at the Yankees, but it certainly can’t hurt. Enjoy a little comic relief and let’s keep the conversation going.
