		<description>I agree wholeheartedly Webconomist.  If one were to peer the onion at nearly every major research and listing service, you&#039;d likely find inherent conflicts of interest that clearly would bias the results.  This problem crosses all industry boundaries.</description>

In the tech world it&#039;s perhaps worse since many &quot;technology news shows&quot; are all sponsor driven; you pay $20,000 for 2-3 minutes of being &quot;interviewed&quot; and you get Web time later. Buying a place on lists and industry rankings is done in all consulting sectors - he with the most sponsor cash wins. It&#039;s not nice, and not necessarily fair and the line of keeping &quot;financial&quot; separate was, in my opinion, blurred a long time ago across many industries. Unfortunate.</description>
